Alana

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Alana was first introduced to Dr. Escobar and Dr. Scotti in 1997 while working on her LVT externship.  After graduating Blue Ridge Community College in 1998, she continued working as a licensed veterinary technician alongside both doctors at Broad Street Veterinary Hospital.

Most of Alana’s experience comes from small animal general practice while also learning some aspects of referral medicine in neurology.  When not working inside with animals, she spends time enjoying nature outside dog walking for clients and playing with her pet sitting pets on weekends.  She also enjoys any free time by being outdoors hiking or biking, enjoying the river with her Rottweiler, and cuddling with one of her three cats.
