CURBSIDE CONCIERGE SERVICE

Our veterinary services are an essential component of the health care system in our community.  As such, it is essential that we remain open to provide the necessary care that you and your animal companions have become accustomed.  In light of the COVID pandemic, we are following the ever-changing guidelines and recommendations made by the CDC, WHO, AVMA, and the VVMA.  With an abundance of caution and concern for your personal health we are closing our lobby. We will be keeping our veterinary facility open while maintaining our normal business hours of operation.

Effective 3/23/2020, we are implementing Curbside Concierge Service for all of our clients. All client communications and transactions will be done over the phone or curbside in our parking lot.

FOR ALL PREVENTATIVE, SICK, INJURED OR TECHNICIAN APPOINTMENTS

*When you and your pet arrive for your appointment, please pull into a parking spot and remain in your vehicle.  

*Please call our office at 804-270-7274 from your car. At that time, a team member will assist you via phone.

*Following this phone conversation, a staff member will usher your pet from your car and bring them into our building for their scheduled appointment. We will use our own leashes for dogs.  Please have all cats in carriers.

*After your pet has been examined and cared for, you can expect communication from our staff directly via cell phone or a discussion curbside by your car.  If curbside, we will maintain a safe social distance.   

*Once the care of your pet has been completed, your companion will be ushered back safely to your car along with any medications and/or food.  

*We ask that payment be made over the phone directly with one of our customer service representatives.  

*All documents, including invoices, will be emailed to you.

FOR ALL DROP-OFF OR SURGICAL APPOINTMENTS

*When you arrive, please pull into a parking spot and remain in your vehicle with your pet.  

*Please call our office at 804-270-7274 from your car. At that time, a team member will assist you via phone.

*Following this conversation, we will have one of our staff members go over any required pre-authorization forms.  We recommend allowing our staff to sign on your behalf when possible.  After this, we will usher your pet from your car and bring them safely into our building.  We will use our own leashes for dogs.  Please have all cats in carriers. 

*Our team will be in correspondence with you throughout the day.

*Please call from a parking spot when you arrive to pick up your companion.  We will then safely usher your pet back to your vehicle.

*We ask that payment be made over the phone directly with one of our customer service representatives.  

*All documents, including invoices, will be emailed to you.

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION/FOOD PICK UP

*Please call us when you are in the parking lot and we will bring your pet’s medication/food out to your vehicle.

*We ask that payment be made over the phone directly with one of our customer service representatives.

Just as we have always done in the past, we stay committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to you and your animal companion.  We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to getting back to our usual hugs and handshakes in the near future.
